Bible Study
Sunday mornings give adults time for group Bible Study. There is a discussion/lecture type class that focuses on a particular book of the Bible or the Life of Jesus. Adults can join the Senior High Youth as they explore how to live as a Christian while experiencing current social/political events. Or Adults can join with the Confirmation class and study the Sacraments, the Creeds, and the Lutheran Church.
Men's Breakfast
The third Saturday of each month the Men of the Church gather at the church or a local restaurant for breakfast and Bible Study.
Women's Breakfast
Each month the Women of the Church gather at a local restaurant or bring a potluck breakfast to the Church for fellowship and a devotion or a guest speaker.
Sunday School
Every Sunday morning children and youth have the opportunity to study the Bible and learn about Jesus and how being a Christian impacts their lives.
Confirmation
6 th -8 th graders spend Sunday mornings learning and preparing for their Confirmation. The youth learn about the Sacraments, the Creeds, and the Lutheran Church.
Kids Club
Kids Club is for grades 1-4, and also usually meets once a month (leaders Laura and John Scoggins).
Junior Youth Group
Junior Youth Group is for grades 5-8 and usually meets once per month. The mission of the Junior Youth Group is: To encourage and enable kids to more fully grow into their role as members of the body of Christ, by providing age-appropriate opportunities for both service and fellowship with other Christians and their community.
Senior High Youth Group
Senior High Youth Group meets the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month from 6 - 8 pm at SOA. Check the youth room bulletin board for details on special events. All 9-12 graders and their friends are invited.
VBS
For a week each summer the church is transformed as kids, youth, and adults from SOA and the community come together to have fun while exploring their Christian Faith around a particular theme.
